Too Good To Be Threw Thrift Store
Our Community Needs
In order to meet the growing needs of women, children and families in our community, the Comox Valley Transition Society has maintained our social enterprise thrift store since 2008.
Revenue generated by the Too Good To Be Threw Thrift Store contributes to supporting and sustaining current and future programs and services. The store also provides clothing and household goods at no cost to women, children and families in need.
The Thrift Store has become a valued and much-loved shopping destination in the community and brings visitors from across the Comox Valley and beyond.

Thrift Store Donation Guidelines
While we greatly appreciate the generosity of community members who donate gently used clothing and other used goods, items we are not able to use are a cost for us to dispose of. Due to quality standards set for our clients and customers, and to keep dumping costs to a minimum, please be aware we may not accept your donations if they are not suitable. All items must be clean and in usable condition.
We will generally accept anything that is clean, free from stains, pet hair, rips/tears, chips/breakages, and odours, as well as items that are complete and not missing pieces.
