Proudly presented by Waypoint Insurance, the 10th annual CNOY event takes place Saturday, February 22, 2025.

As the temperature drops the Comox Valley community prepares for the Coldest Night of the Year 2025.

The fundraising goal for 2025 is $225,000 in support of Comox Valley Transitions Society and Dawn to Dawn, to assist families and individuals in our community at risk and experiencing or facing homelessness.

“Waypoint is proud to be the new presenting sponsor for the Comox Valley Transition Society including the 10th annual CNOY 2025. We recognize the importance of supporting those in our community who need help. Waypoint strives to make a difference and have a positive impact for the people and organizations in our community.” – Waypoint

The CNOY 2km or 5km walk route is from and to the Native Sons Hall in Courtenay. Along the route walkers will be treated to toasty warm beverages at the Courtenay Firehall and at the finish line. Participants are welcome to walk when they want, and with whom they want. Participants who raise $150 or more ($75 or more for those 17 years and younger) will receive the 2025 Toque!

“Each year the need in our community grows. When we come together in this way we are able to help people in a way we couldn’t as individuals. We care deeply about this community and we can make a difference in the lives of those who need us most. Thank you.”  – Heather Ney, Executive Director, Comox Valley Transition Society and Richard Clarke, Past President, Dawn to Dawn Action on Homelessness Society.
