  • violence of any kind (physical, emotional or psychological);

The 24-hour Crisis Line and Text Line provide immediate support and information to women who are experiencing abuse now, including the potential to access emergency shelter.

Family and friends of women who are being abused are also welcome to call/text these numbers for information and support.

Trained staff at Lilli House respond to the calls/texts and are able to share information about where to find resources in the community and can support women who are at risk of violence to create a safety plan for themselves and their children.

Group Counselling (On Hold)

As part of the STV Program, we offer Reclaiming Our Lives, a free, drop-in group that offers an opportunity to:

  • know that you are not alone;
  • gain information and support in a confidential setting; and
  • choose when you want to come to group.

Our focus is on building knowledge and skills, rather than disclosure of personal trauma stories. Topics of discussion include:

  • Abuse in relationships;
  • Power and control;
  • Impacts of abuse;
  • Why women stay;
  • Boundaries;
  • Self-esteem;
  • Safety planning;
  • Trauma and PTSD.

Reclaiming Our Lives is a drop-in program offered weekly on Wednesdays, from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m., and is open to all women.

PLEASE NOTE: this program is currently on hold until such time it is safe for us to gather in large groups again.
