Job Description
Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, Works with clients to develop and implement holistic recovery plans and goals. Plans and implements individual and group recovery, activities which assist women in meeting their goals, including the development of life and coping skills, community connections, relapse prevention and engagement in healthy leisure and recreational activities. Ensures the safety and cleanliness of the house.

- EFFECTIVE DATE: ASAP
- END DATE: To return of incumbent
- HOURS: 75 hours bi-weekly, 1.0 (FTE)
- WORKING: This is a three-week rotation; Thurs/Fri/Sat
Week 1: 3 consecutive shifts 7:00am – 7:30pm
Week 2: 3 consecutive shifts 8:30am – 9:00pm
Week 3: 3 consecutive shifts 7:00pm – 7:30am - DAYS OFF: 4 days in a row (Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed)
- WORKING: This is a three-week rotation; Thurs/Fri/Sat
- SALARY: Grid 11, Range $27.54 – $31.61 Hourly. Effective Oct 6/24 a temporary wage
adjustment came into effect. The temp wage range for Grid 11 is $31.56 to $33.49. In
addition shift premiums for nights, weekends and evenings were implemented.
Education, Training and Experience
- Diploma in a related human / social services field.
- One-year relevant experience working in a residential setting
- One-year related experience providing support and program facilitation in the
- substance use recovery field.
- Or equivalent combination of training and experience in the substance use recovery field.
- Valid Level I First Aid Certificate including CPR
- Food Safe
- Valid BC driver’s license
- Relevant Criminal Record Clearance.
