Crisis Intervention Support Worker – Lilli House

Basic Responsibilities:

The Crisis Intervention Support Worker works at the transition house as a member of a team providing information, support, and referrals to women and their children who are in or have left an abusive relationship. Assists clients in identifying their own objectives and incorporates these into the individual support plans. Helps maintain the safety and efficient functioning of the facility.

Education, Experience:

Relevant Diploma with a minimum of one years’ relevant experience in a stopping the violence or residential setting; Experience in crisis intervention, support and knowledge of abuse issues and experience supporting women.

Full and valid BC driver’s license and successful Criminal Record clearance required.

Casual Availability:

In a casual position there are no guarantee of hours. You will be offered hours based on seniority either to fill planned or short notice absences of regular staff. All Casual employees must make themselves available a minimum of 15 days each month including two weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) per month and a minimum of 7 statutory holidays per year.
