The Human Resources Manager, is responsible for the implementation, administration and management of the Comox Valley Transition Society’s HR policies and practices.
Functions include:
- recruitment and selection;
- labour relations including grievances,
- investigations and discipline;
- staff wellness;
- occupational health and safety;
- payroll, pension and benefits administration;
- disability management.
The Human Resources Manager provides HR support and guidance to CVTS Program Managers.
Education, Training and Experience
- Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration specializing in Human
Resources Management - 3 to 5 years progressive HR experience in a unionized setting
- Thorough understanding of labour relations activities and practices
- CHRP designation an asset
- Experience in the community social services an asset
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Monday to Friday; 8:30am to 4:30pm
SALARY: $93,600.00 annual
