Under the supervision of the Community Connect Coordinator, the Community Facilitator is responsible for creating a safe and welcoming space for individuals experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness. The Community Facilitator provides program participants access to basic needs, including shelter, information, connection to community resources, and other practical and administrative support. Connect aims to empower participants to create goals that support well-being and promotes equitable access to health and social programs to make participants’ experience of homelessness as brief as possible.
Education, Training and Experience
- Human Service Worker diploma in a related human/social service field.
- One year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Valid Level I First Aid Certificate including CPR.
- FoodSafe certification
- Must have a full class 5 BC driver’s license

WORKING: Friday 7am – 7:30m, Saturday and Sunday; 10:30 am – 11 pm (12.5 hour shifts)
DAYS OFF: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday
SALARY: Grid 11, Range $27.54 – $31.61 Hourly (subject to TMAs)
