A Recovery Support Worker works with clients in our residential stabilization and supported recovery program to develop and implement recovery plans, taking a holistic approach to women’s supported recovery, stabilization with a focus on harm reduction. Plans and implements individual and group recovery, recreational and skill building activities which assist women in meeting their goals and improving their quality of life.
Job Status – On call/ casual (no guaranteed shifts); Mon to Fri daytime; you must be available a minimum of 15 days/month
- Diploma in a related human /social service related field
- Certificate in Addictions
- One year related experience providing support and counselling in the substance use recovery field.
- Or equivalent combination of training and experience in the substance use recovery field.
